HolaWidget Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the provider of HolaWidget (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the HolaWidget mobile application and its related features (the “App”). It also explains your privacy choices and rights.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the App, its widgets, and support communications relating to HolaWidget. It does not govern Apple or other third-party services, which have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we may process

The App is designed so that widget configurations and content are generally stored on your device or in storage you control. We do not access your entire photo library merely because permission is available, and iOS allows you to limit access to selected photos. Analytics, advertising, attribution, diagnostics, remote configuration, and notification data may be transmitted to the providers listed in Section 8.

3. Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location, contacts, full payment-card information, or HealthKit data unless a future App feature clearly requests it and we update this Policy beforehand. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-related disclosure may, however, be considered “selling” or “sharing” under the broad definitions used by some U.S. state privacy laws; applicable opt-out rights are described below.

4. How we use information

We may use information to:

• provide widgets, personalization tools, purchases, and requested App features;
• remember settings and maintain App functionality;
• diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve reliability and design;
• configure and test features remotely and deliver permitted push notifications;
• display contextual or personalized advertising, subject to your consent and settings;
• measure advertising performance and attribute installs, subscriptions, purchases, and other campaign events;
• respond to support and privacy requests;
• detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Use;
• comply with law and protect users, our rights, and the public; and
• create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify you.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the App and purchases), based on our legitimate interests (security, support, diagnostics, and improvement), with your consent (such as access to photos or optional tracking), or to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through iOS settings or by contacting us, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

6. Permissions and your choices

Photos and media

If you choose a feature that uses your images, the App may request Photos access. You can grant limited access, change selected photos, or revoke access through iOS Settings. Revoking access may prevent related features from working.

Notifications

If notifications are offered, they are optional. You may turn them off in iOS Settings.

Tracking and personalized advertising

When required, the App uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. If you consent, advertising and attribution partners may access IDFA and combine App activity with information from other apps or services to provide or measure personalized advertising. You may deny permission without losing access to the App’s core functionality or later change permission under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We will not access IDFA for tracking without the permission Apple requires. You may still receive contextual advertising if you decline.

7. Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and payment details under Apple’s privacy policy. We may receive limited transaction and entitlement information needed to provide or restore paid features and address billing support. Subscription management and cancellation are available through your Apple ID settings.

8. How information may be shared

We may disclose limited information:

• To service providers: vendors that provide hosting, crash reporting, analytics, customer support, purchase validation, security, or similar services, only as needed to perform services for us and subject to appropriate restrictions.
• To Apple: for App distribution, purchases, subscription management, device functionality, and services you choose to use.
• For legal and safety reasons: if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request; enforce agreements; detect fraud or security issues; or protect rights and safety.
• During a business transaction: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets, subject to applicable legal protections.
• With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share content or information.

The App currently uses the following providers. A provider may process data as our service provider or, for certain advertising activities, under its own terms as an independent business or controller. Its processing is also governed by its privacy documentation.

We require providers acting on our behalf to process information for specified purposes and subject to applicable contractual protections. Advertising providers may independently determine some purposes and means of processing. We encourage you to review their policies and privacy controls. We will update this list and relevant App Store privacy disclosures if our integrations materially change.

9. Data retention

Content stored only on your device remains there until you remove it, reset the App, or delete the App, subject to device backups you control. We retain support correspondence, transaction records, diagnostics, and other information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security requirements. We then delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should secure your device and Apple ID and keep iOS and the App updated.

11. International transfers

The App may be offered worldwide, and service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use lawful safeguards designed to protect transferred personal information, such as contractual protections, and apply applicable legal requirements.

12. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law sets a higher age for valid consent, a parent or guardian must provide any required consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a decision or complain to a data protection authority. You may also have a right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law.

To submit a request, email contact@holastar.cc and state that your request concerns HolaWidget privacy. We may need to verify your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. Because much of the App’s content may remain only on your device, we may not possess data you ask us to access or delete.

14. U.S. state privacy notice

Residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise the rights described above, subject to statutory scope and exceptions. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 2 and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 8 for operational business purposes. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. Disclosure of identifiers, Internet or electronic activity, approximate location, and advertising data to advertising partners for personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws.

Where applicable, you may opt out by declining App Tracking Transparency permission or turning it off under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You may also contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out right. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16.

15. Third-party links and services

The App may link to third-party sites or interact with iOS features. We are not responsible for third parties’ privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy as the App or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version, update the date above, and provide additional notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
